Trionic Joinery was formed in late 1978 by Leonard Milner and Philip Baker using redundancy money of £250 each. The early days saw the firm working out of a single room, measuring a mere 500sq ft.

Over the next ten years, a further three small units were taken over, another craftsman and apprentice were employed, and the output was increased until the company found the size of the premises to be holding it back.

In 1990 the firm moved to larger premises. Expansion rapidly followed, with further machinery, an extended workforce, and an increased output. Eventually, further units were taken on the same estate.

We are pleased to report we were awarded Investor in People status in 2001.

Trionic's list of clients and customers is impressive, and a true statement is its quality and expertise. It supplies such notable names as Taylor Lane Timber Frame, Country Homes Timber Frame, Fairclough Homes and Hearthstead Homes to name but a few. This is not even counting the many builders, developers and private customers that use the company, primarily through word-of-mouth, based on quality goods at the right cost.

There are no plans to expand further at present, as a more personal attitude is applied to the contracts than in many larger organisations, this ensures that our customers will return to us for future joinery projects. The smaller customer is never forgotten either and the company is quite happy to supply the smallest of items to anyone who gets in touch, be it just a newel post cap, baluster or window board.

The firm uses its own transport and, whilst covering nationwide, the area mostly covered is from north Midlands running down to the south coast and Wales.
